These were used by specialist mountain troops and were also issued to the SAS and also the SOE attached commando units in Italy and Yugosalvia. Also worn by 52nd Division. They dont come up very often at all, and I have only seen one other pair in the last two or three years. These are in lovely condition with no mothing or holes anywhere and are very little worn. Who knows what stories these breeches
